First, get a garbage plastic bag (large) cut it open. You will also need painter's tape for easy removal when the time comes. Measure the open garbage bag so about 2 inches hangs into the bathtub. Use the tape from left to right to tape the garbage bag. you will need to cover the wall where the shower head is and the long (4' to 5' long) wall about three feet long. If you have a leak in the shower, follow the procedure in number 2 above except you will have tape garbage bags all around the tiled wall and let the bottom have to the shower floor. If the shower continues to leak, you have a leak in the shower pan. ake some plastic and tape up the waste (drain) line. Take a bucket of water and gently pour into the shower floor tiles. You may need up to three buckets of water or about 1 inch of water above the drain. Let it stand. If your pan is leaking, you will see a leak downstairs. This means you have a leak in the pan. STOP using bleach and call me immediately. Mold is a silent killer. The mold gets into your lungs and can cause many health issues including death. Bleach (soaps and all cleaning products) dissolves grout and caulk and makes holes in the grout and caulk where water hides. After a while the water turns to mold. More bleach, more holes in the grout and caulk. In time the bleach will get to the back of the tile and begin to dissolve the glue and cement that is holding the tiles in place.
